The Game Haus is an online sports media company based in Cincinnati, OH. We are focused on delivering the best coverage in both sports and esports.

We are currently looking to bring on sports writers in the following areas: MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, Soccer (MLS and EPL), College Football, and College Basketball. Reporting directly to the Head of Sports, sports writers will be responsible for creating interesting and engaging content on a regular basis.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic journalist who wants to produce top quality, regular content in their chosen sport.

As a Sports Journalist, your duties will include:

  • Creating smart, thoughtful, engaging and sophisticated content for your chosen sport.

  • Actively promoting your work via social media and relevant forums.

  • Develop audiences on Facebook, Twitter and emerging social platforms

  • Display creativity in everything from developing ideas to writing SEO-friendly headlines to sharing content socially.

  • Be among the strongest writers in our team, be able to write well and with your own voice, and also bring a sense of fun to the job.

  • Participation in brainstorms to devise fresh and innovative ideas to provide top quality content.

  • Monitoring SEO

  • Explore and keeping up to date with your chosen sport

The Candidate:

  • Be comfortable and confident using various Social Media platforms.
