Manager, HR & Employee Engagement
What’s This Position All About?
This is a high growth opportunity that will encompass a wide range of tasks and will require an individual who is highly self-motivated and takes initiative to find and improve problems before they arise. Responsibilities will fall under many operational competencies including: recruiting, employee engagement, facilities management, benefits oversight and continuing to craft our company culture. They will help run company meetings, continue sculpting the optimal hiring profile for new hires and mediate any conflicts within the company. The ideal candidate is a recent grad or has 1-3 years of experience in HR and recruiting.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting
Creating job postings
Reviewing resumes
Conducting initial interviews
Overseeing analytics testing
Scheduling follow up interviews for other team members
Employee Engagement
Plan weekly company meetings
Organize company events, including holiday parties, social events, volunteer events, etc.
Sit in on employee reviews to take notes and ensure follow through
Oversee (but not necessarily conduct) basic intern training
Create and analyze company surveys
Help foster a supportive work environment
Explore all avenues to enhancing employee engagement
Facilities Management
Maintaining office materials and ordering new ones as needed
Welcoming clients/interviewees into the office
Answering basic phone calls
Purchasing food/drink for office
Preparing space for new hires
Troubleshoot technology issues as they arise
Benefits
Oversee third-party benefit/payroll provider account and answer basic questions from the team regarding benefits
Determine company days off
Research possible benefits increases for company
