You will
- Gain understanding of engagement objectives and alignment with clients’ strategies to ensure recommendations can be implemented
- Leverage mastered methodologies such as business process analysis,financial analysis, causal analysis, risk analysis, strategic planning, requirements development and management consulting
- Participate as a member of Gartner teams in the creation of high-quality assessments and actionable strategies on clients’ behalf
- Analyze Gartner Research and leverage Gartner Consulting IP and methodologies to assist in the preparation of written reports and management presentations under the guidance of experienced Gartner consultants
- Develop and maintain client relationships, and build a network within Gartner Consulting
- Demonstrate Gartner’s world-class brand through thought leadership and a forward-thinking mind-set
You have
- A graduate-level degree in business, technology or related field
- Strong academic track record
- Demonstrable project-based analytical experience with an established business and/or IT consulting firm or through academic coursework
- Ability to write and compile business reports and high-quality executive presentations
- Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- IT industry understanding and/or experience
- Ability to analyze and creatively simplify and solve problems that lead to informed decisions and actionable recommendations
- Excellent listening, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Fluency in English with bilingual speaking ability a plus
- Willingness to travel (potentially several days per week)

Experience in any of the following areas is highly preferred: IT Strategy, Governance, Organizational Change Management, Enterprise Architecture, Sourcing/Acquisition Support, Business Process Management, Outsourcing, Critical Program Management, Software Development Life Cycles, Channel Management, R&D, Product Management, Corporate Strategy, Competitive Analysis, Financial Analysis, Human-Centered Design (Persona Development/Journey Mapping), Roadmap Development, Digital Technologies, Agile (Development and/or Project Management)
