• Identifying common strategic imperatives and operating gaps amongst some of the nation’s most recognized and digitally-forward health systems
• Building Capabilities roadmaps, linked to digital solutions for complex challenges like consumer access and Medicaid
• Driving confident technology decisions that are evidence-based and strategic
• Enabling successful implementations by supporting project planning, stakeholder alignment, and measurement
• Proving impact and accelerating change through the shared learnings and experiences within the network of health systems
• Delivering our work on a proprietary digital platform—purpose-built for innovation teams to build and manage the performance of their enterprise-wide digital portfolio and connect across the industry

Your Zone of Genius will be...

• Supporting and executing multiple engagements concurrently across several health systems and/or digital solution companies through an organized process leveraging strong analytics and project execution
• Applying broad understanding cultivated through sophisticated project work within healthcare industry and relevant market trends to specific trends and challenges (developing one/multiple “major(s)”) at AVIA
• Managing and executing multiple bodies of work across both your “major” area of expertise and areas aligned to your broader skill set
• Bolstering a point of view and clear direction for AVIA Members and the industry
• Building enduring relationships with Member stakeholders and solution companies
• Volunteering and engaging your skills across the organization, jumping in and leading projects outside of your formal role to support timely business needs and expand your own skill set

• Support the case for digital as a “hard asset” to be leveraged by Health Systems to automate their operations and deliver fundamentally new services and capabilities
• Refine digitally-enabled Capability roadmaps to improve healthcare delivery and drive measurable growth, financial improvement, and/or operational efficiencies
• Find and vet a robust portfolio of digital solution companies that are yielding benchmarkable outcomes for our Members, at scale (pilots are just the entry ticket)
• Assist in deploying scalable Products, grounded in health system strategic imperatives, evidence and SME expertise, current and emerging market forces, technology due diligence, strong analytics, and effective implementation practices
• Be a connector within AVIA, engaging across the organization with curiosity and integrity, to ensure alignment and discovery of opportunities to support colleagues and grow the business
• Synthesize and organize AVIA’s work via our proprietary software that allows our own team and our network Members to conduct research, access IP, interact with peers, and connect with digital solutions on a self-serve platform (we are innovating by automating our own work!)
• Enthusiastically thrive in a fast-paced, scaling company committed to its Members, people and mission

• You’ve been in the professional world for 2-5+ years (total work experience), in positions of increasing responsibility and impact
• You have an advanced degree related to business and/or healthcare (e.g., MBA, MPH, MHA); focus in areas such as technology, design/product development, informatics, or innovation a plus
• You bring stellar analytical and critical thinking skills; you know how to break complex problems down into component parts, prioritize their value, and deliver concise, actionable products
• You have knowledge of the current healthcare market with direct experience addressing health system challenges, particularly in digital health
• You prioritize action over risk-aversion, MVP over perfection, and results over activity
• You want to make an outsized investment of your time and talent in a growing company (and for that, you will be granted ownership interest in the company via profits interest units)
• You understand the digital solution world or have had meaningful exposure
• You like managing multiple clients and projects concurrently, being efficient with your time, communicating to matrixed teams, accurately interpreting client’s needs, and supporting repurposable standard work
• You find ambiguity full of possibilities and it triggers a response to create, solve, own, guide, drive and stretch yourself and others
• You possess excellent written/verbal communication; you are persuasive, motivating, and clear; your active listen skills set you apart
• You take 100% accountability for your work, behavior, and how you show up to others
• You can travel up to 30% and Chicago based
