SUMMER 2021 INTERNSHIP-Digital Communications Intern (Virtual)
Summary
As a member of the Creative Services Team, you will assist with copywriting for the internal creative agency at Save the Children. You will be working with various members of the creative team, helping write headlines and copy for digital ads, video scripts, social media content and other creative content to support our summer campaign, 100 Days of Reading.
What You’ll be Doing (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)
- Supporting two Associate Creative Directors and Creative Director with headlines and copy for digital ads (banners)
- Developing engaging social media content ideas for our summer campaign 100 Days of Reading
- Creating engaging script ideas for IG, Facebook and TikTok videos and supporting script writing
- Providing support with writing and editing email copy as needed
Required Qualifications
- Must be an actively enrolled Associate, Bachelor, Master or other post high school education program, or have graduated within 6 months of program start date
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English,
- Demonstrate collaborative interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully within a team
- Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Mass Communications, Journalism, Writing, English or Advertising major preferred
- Proven professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Demonstrated attention to detail, particularly in written communications
