DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
If you are a Human Resources professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career in a developmental role, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! As a Human Resources Analyst, you will be able to learn Emerson processes while supporting the Platform group in St. Louis, MO by collaborating with leaders and employees to ensure the successful completion of cyclical processes and day-to-day activities. You will partner with the VP, Human Resources to align Emerson People Strategy initiatives with the Platform Group priorities to ensure excellent execution in hiring, on-boarding, and developing employees.
AS A HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST, YOU WILL:
• Curate weekly and ad-hoc communications to inform Platform employees of important site news and updates on COVID-19.
• Consult with and advise hiring managers on talent needs, managing expectations and collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to utilize standard processes. Participate on interview teams as requested by hiring managers.
• Participate in employee onboarding and exit processes.
• Support employees, managers, and VP of Human Resources through cyclical processes, including Talent Review, Organization Review, Ethics Training, and Performance Reviews
• Schedule and facilitate necessary trainings for campus employee population
• Provide day-to-day support to employees and leaders through employee relations
• Execute Platform-wide projects as assigned, including data analysis and other special projects
• Encourage a Diverse & Inclusive employee environment, including awareness training, personal development and cultural awareness activities

REQUIRED SKILLS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization
• Geographically mobile to enable future advancement
• HR experiences in hiring, employee relations, or training
• Computer skills, and experience with project management & implementation
• Positive attitude and desire to be an employee advocate
• Exceptional customer service and employee relations skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other data systems
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team
• Ability to travel up to 5%
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• MBA or Master's degree with a focus in Human Resources Management
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources
• Open to development for further HR assignments
