Senior Communications Representative (Coordinator III)

The Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) seeks a Senior Communications Representative to develop and implement communications and public awareness initiatives that elevate the voices of underrepresented or marginalized communities while supporting and advancing BES’ mission to protect public health and the environment.
The Senior Communications Representative duties will include:
- Plan, develop, and implement inclusive communications programs and public awareness and marketing efforts including audience identification, message development, and strategies and tactics to raise awareness of and advance the bureau’s work within the community.
- Provide strategic communications services for the bureau’s programs, policies, and projects including incentive, compliance, and customer service programs, with particular focus on communities of color and historically underrepresented communities.
- Assist the Public Affairs Manager in supporting the communications needs of the Director, Deputy Director, and bureau leadership team.
- Bilingual/multilingual skills are preferred, but not required.
