Public Works Crewleader

Ensures that Stormwater and Public Works projects and programs assigned by the supervisor are accomplished in a prompt and effective manner by coordinating the daily job assignments of a maintenance crew and by actively working with the crew in the completion of the assigned projects.

Additional duties as outlined in the job description

Good knowledge of the materials, equipment and practices employed in construction and maintenance of streets, storm sewers, parks and fleet equipment. Good skill in operating and observing the operation of heavy and light equipment. Good organizational skill to instruct and lead workers, skill in keeping records and following oral and written instructions, and considerable skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

 

Must provide a completed application form and submit a detailed summary of any lead work/supervisory experience and education as it relates to the position of interest. Include equipment knowledge and years of experience.
