Registration Coordinator

This position requires work of moderate difficulty providing support to supervisory, professional, and administrative staff in the Registration and Records Office. This position serves the campus community (students, faculty, staff) to process enrollment materials and forms while enforcing university policies as it relates to registration and records. This position is responsible to perform complex program support to enrollment management activities with UW-Stout undergraduate and graduate programs. Other duties include the use of complex computer applications and problem-solving skills. This position serves as back-up to other Registration and Records team positions.

70% Registration Specialist- Manage and support enrollment management activities
15% Utilize technology and complex student information system
10% Diploma and Certificate mailings
5% All other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft office suite, student information system or database, scanning software and the internet
  • Excellent customer service work experience in a diverse community
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in higher education or related student services environment
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft or related student information system
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Experience working with personal or confidential information
