Accounts Receivable/Collections Intern

Kalibri Labs is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable/Collections Intern. The position is responsible for initiating communications (verbal and written) with delinquent customers to collect payments and resolve accounts. The ideal candidate will learn standard collection concepts, practices, and procedures and will have the ability to rely on experience and judgment to interact with customers professionally.
*This position is fully remote!
You will need to have your own computer with internet access (no data/files will be added to PC)
Responsibilities:
- Contact oldest Accounts Receivable accounts to obtain payment
- Contact hotel by phone to obtain best contact information
- Send out cover email with invoice, contract, & W9 attached
- Follow-up with property until resolved by payment or write-off and subscription cancelation
- Ability to be firm, polite, and tactful on phone and in email correspondence
- Interact with the sales team to resolve customer issues.
- Ability to track activities and follow up
Requirements:
- Self-starter with strong customer service, communication and organization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Tactful/Professional telephone and email etiquette
- Knowledge of accounting methods and business operations
- Knowledgeable in use of Gmail and PDF
