Gatorade® Field Market Lead

SUMMARY:

As a Gatorade^® Field Market Lead, you will be employed by GMP for the Gatorade^® Bars Program (the “Gatorade^® Program”), which is managed by Paragon Marketing Group LLC (“Paragon”). In this position, you will lead in executing the Gatorade^® Program at all activations, including adult and college intramural leagues as well as college recreation centers, in the market to which you are assigned. Activation will include properly distributing Gatorade^® Fuel and Recover bars at designated locations; transporting Gatorade^® products and premiums to venue locations; educating participating athletes on the Gatorade^® products; and being available to answer questions of athlete participants about products.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

·         Attend all required training (Webinar, In-Person, etc.)

·         Manage all inventory and storage of Gatorade^® product and premiums

·         Receive product and premium shipments to program designated storage units as needed

·         Deliver product education and appropriate consumption times to athletes as they receive Gatorade^® products

·         Distribute Gatorade^® products at appropriate times and appropriate temperature

·         Assist with video capture of competitions for G Feed

·         Field any questions regarding G Feed app usage

·         Answer any questions or concerns from in market staff

·         Return items to proper storage area at the end of each day

·         Communicate with Paragon contacts regarding inventory updates, distribution tips, etc.

·         Be available for activations which occur some evenings and/or weekends

·         Communicate with your manager regarding on-site availability and any scheduling conflicts.

·         Assist Paragon with staff scheduling and changes

·         Help facilitate staff schedules and site locations to in market staff

·         Assist Paragon with scheduling brand ambassador shifts

·         Report to Paragon promptly if any issues arise affecting Gatorade’s^®  involvement in the adult intramural leagues

·         Perform additional tasks and duties as may be assigned and/or needed to execute the Gatorade^® Program

WORKSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Able to work part-time July - October

·         Able to lead Brand Ambassador teams on site in different locations

·         Demonstrate strong people skills

·         Exhibit professional demeanor and compelling customer service attitude

·         Follow directions and meet deadlines

·         Communicate effectively with other employees, Brand Ambassadors (in market), Gatorade Manager, Paragon representative and adult league athletes

·         Display a high-level of energy and dependable, strong work ethic

·         Able to work in a team environment

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED preferred; Athletic Training Certificate preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

·         Must have reliable transportation for local travel

·         Frequent local travel required, which may extend into nights and weekends

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to: lift and carry 10-15 pounds, and move about assigned adult league venue locations
