Sales Associate

January - November 2021 • Miami, FL

What I liked

- Great management and cooperation among teammembers - Good sales experience in a fast paced environment (important for career growth) - Very fulfilling and rewarding if you like to help others

What I wish was different

- More transparency in terms of expected hours of work. When I first started I would work am average of 35h and the past weeks it hasn't gone over 25h and without any notice from HR. - Lack of essential training when I first started working like how to answer the phone or handle difficult customers

Advice

Nike is a great company to work for, and probably the best when it comes to the retail world. The Nike at Dolphin mall gets tons of consumers all around the world, specially South America, so you'll be thriving if you know Spanish. Otherwise, you can do good with just English but you might struggle. You'll get to meet with tons of different types of people and get true salesfloor experience, so consider the opportunity to work part time or seasonal if you need the money or the next step in your career development. The employee discount is very nice too
