What I liked
Really friendly customers and really friendly employees. I liked the fast paced working style and the 1-hour lunch break we got after working more than 4 hours. I also really loved working with the employees, most were really nice and helpful. But mostly I just liked how much work there was to do.
What I wish was different
Unfortunately, I do wish the management was better. Most of the managers either seemed just really angry or just didn't even know what was going on half the time. Other than that, I really loved my experience there.
Advice
The one piece of advise is that it is a fun job if you get the right people and love to do some hard work.

What I liked
I got more hours in the summer because they were short handed. Then they sent me to do a remodel at another store so I was doing about 50 hours per week plus they gave us travel pay.
What I wish was different
I had to be stuck here the whole summer. I didn't know when I'd have time off because the schedules are not consistent and there wasn't enough people to take my shift if I wanted off.
Advice
Put your foot down. Don't let them make you do something you don't want to do. Watch schedule times because I got scheduled until 12 am and then back at 6 am the next day. It's just the online scheduler and they don't always catch the mistakes.

I liked that I had the chance of working with the same team everyday. My supervisor was also very involved in the daily tasks that our team was assigned everyday.
What I wish was different
I wish our tasks would have been achievable for us. Some days we would get some many items coming into the store it was impossible for the amount of people we had that day to complete our tasks for the night shift to be successful.
Advice
This position was a good to start off and get references to maybe advance in different part-time jobs in the future.
