I like the team experience at Walmart, always feeling like you're making a difference by assisting customers with their shopping by providing them information on a variety of products and supplying/arranging products to provide a convenient experience for the customers and your coworkers.

I wish the schedules were more consistent and I had more time to communicate with my managers.

In my humble opinion, having a job while in college is one of the most diligent things you could do, as it builds experience along with education to set you on a quality path of success for a future career(s).

My manager was amazing at her role. The work was repetitive, but it was active enough to be engaging. The shift was also good; 4-1 gave me the rest of the afternoon for recreation.

Unless you are willing to move to company headquarters, there are few major-specifc opportunities available.

Nothing, the job was great and if like a job that feels rewarding I would highly recommend it.

This isn't a job where you can be lazy, If you are scheduled to work 8 hours expect to work all 8 hours. If you are looking for a super easy job this isn't the job.

I enjoyed the customer service aspect, and I thought the environment of a lot of individual people working together in such a large store was a different experience in which I was able to enhance a lot of skills, such as communication.

I do think that the manager - associate communication could've been bettered.

I think something that I learned during this experience was the importance of a positive customer experience regardless of circumstance (the customer is always right).

The company culture is not as innovative and progressive as other Silico Valley companies, which was not expected.

Expect to hit the ground running and definitely make connections beyond the current team to build a support network and learn abiut other opportunities within the company for your future.
